Hello fam,
The Houndrace Team is excited to announce the launch of our Alpha on Rinkeby testnet, along with test hound NFTs given for community members to immerse in the game and help us with feedback on the racing and breeding features of Houndrace.
We have been working hard building our blockchain game, and will be granting access to initial participants soon today. Every active member of our Discord server will receive some unique test hound NFTs and test Ether for testing the breeding and racing features. Please note that these are test NFTs so you will not be able to buy or sell any of them.
This Houndrace launch is deployed on the Rinkeby Test Network.
Rinkeby is an Ethereum test network that allows for blockchain development testing before deployment on Mainnet, the main Ethereum network.
As we steam ahead towards the production release, we feel that being as transparent as possible is critical to optimizing the value of our product for our community. 👀
The purpose of this release is to collect feedback from our users on the racing and breeding features in a dynamic way and get the community fully involved in the development process.
That’s right, we need you to help us to test and get involved into the process of developement that we can recieve and analyze your feedback, the discovered bugs etc. and feed back into our development cycle.

Houndrace Tester Discord Role
We have created the Houndrace Tester Discord Role for our community, and every active member of our server will be invited to join the alpha testing channel, to add their feedback, suggestion, and as well discuss the further changes with the founding team of Houndrace.
We will have special tester roles that will unlock a private tester channel where you can talk directly with our Developement team members.
Participate in our developement process and send your feedback directly to our founder team in order to built a better game!❤️🔥
How to apply for access the Houndrace testnet?
In order to get access to the game you have conform to the following steps.
- Open a support ticket on discord and add your ERC-20 wallet address, so we can send your test NFTs and test Ether. Once you do submit your wallet address, please be patient, and we’ll have further updates for you in few hours!
- You will also recieve a Houndrace Tester Role, and will be invited to join the Houndrace tester channel on our server, and be active to achieve the special tester role!
- Visit the following link: https://app.houndrace.com/
- Log in with your Metamask to the game and choose the Rinkeby Test Network.
- Here are the 3 steps to make it happen!
- Wait till tomorrow, 1st of June, to recieve the test NFTs and test Ether and start racing your hound!🐕
Click on the show/hide test networks, turn on the button to show the test networks and choose form the list- Rinekby Test Network. See the image below with the correct test network selected.
What to expect?
Racing — You will be able to join new races and compete with other players.
Breeding — The breeding feature will also be available for testing 🐕
Simulation — In this version, we will make available the 2D version of our simulation.
Hound NFTs — For the testnet launch, we will give away free testnet hound NFTs with limited features to selected users that engage in our discord community. Please note that these are test NFTs so you will be naot able to buy or sell any of them.
And because we know you will ask…the good news about our open source code that is already available publicly on our Github.
