Major Smart Contact Upgrade Scheduled
Hello Houndrace Community,
We have some awesome updates for you! We have scheduled for today a new major smart contract update that will bring new features to the table and improve existing in order to bring the best web3 racing experience that Houndrace has to offer to our community.
Because Houndrace is in the testing phase, we are working hard to push and test all the features as soon as possible before going into production with the mainnet launch. Our based core dev team has been working hard on improving the breeding and racing features and backend of the game.
Here is a list of new features as well as updates we’ve made for the existing functionality.
- backend improvements and fixes for stability.
- contracts improvements and fixes for stability.
- adding a countdown timer for a queue before the race goes live.
- adding more information to the ended race and a UI revamp, in the My Races / Races and Live tabs.
- UI refresh on Race, Breed, Hounds pages.
- improved filters on Race, Breed, Hounds pages.
- improvements to the 2D simulation look-&-feel.
- addition of sound elements to the 2D simulation.

⚡️Important update for our testers⚡️
Due to the fact that we will wipe the Data Base when this new update goes live, all the ‘old’ test NFT hounds will be unusable on the new upgrade.
Our team will send new upgraded hounds to the testers once everything has been deployed. We will automatically send the new hounds to the same wallet where you received your old one.
The new hounds will be distributed during the following days of the update.
